In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Copy of a letter from Richard Wilkinson in which he relates that while on passage from Lisbon in the ANGEL GABRIEL Prize the crew mutinied and took him prisoner claiming they were owed wages and threatened to put him ashore but were prevented from doing so by heavy seas after encountering an island. The saga continues with his relating how some of the mutineers then went ashore in Portugal and were captured. He then retook the ship and sailed it to Kinsale in Ireland. Signed by Richard Wilkinson; Navy Lieutenant.
