Captain Walters of the DIAMOND has arrived at Longreach in order for his ship to be refitted, and you are directed to let him know which yard will be most proper for this...Captain Robinson of the HAMPSHIRE at Sheerness asks where she is to be docked for refitting. The Commander of the BONADVENTURE now at Plymouth, states that she needs to be docked to effect repairs...The Commander of the GUARDLAND says that she cannot be refitted at Sheerness and you are directed to let them know where this is to be done...Captain Walter, Commander of the HANNIBAL hired ship at Plymouth, asks where the cleaning of her may be conveniently done...Captain Lawrence Wright asks that the MARY's quarter deck guns may be exchanged for others that are lighter. An extract of his letter is enclosed.
