In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Our letter of yesterday directed you to turn over men of the MONTAGU to the HOPE at Chatham. We now direct that you forbear from doing this, but have the MONTAGU docked and refitted at Chatham with all possible expedition and supplied with such stores and provisions for her full complement of men for service in the Mediterranean. Proceed no further with fitting out the HOPE until further order.
