In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Richard Burton is to be appointed Locksmith to Chatham and Sheerness. You are directed to enter him accordingly to furnish such ironworks as has usually been done by the locksmiths there and to hold the said place as long as he shall serve a good commodity at reasonable rates. His warrant is to be dated 15 October 1689.
