In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We enclose a list of ships for the Winter Service with their places and stations. You are directed to have them fitted and refitted and supplied with their provisions, taking notice that those for the Mediterranean or West Indies are supplied for their middle complements. The former with 6 months wet and 3 months dry. Those ships for Channel service, Irish Sea and North convoys are to be manned with their highest complements and supplied with stores and provisions accordingly. Ships and vessels cruising, or on stations where they cannot be refitted or supplied, will be notified to you as to where they are to go.
