In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to have ships of the States General supplied at their Majesties yards with such stores as they shall from time to time require, and that all possible assistance be given to them in fitting them for sea. You are also to see that the Admiral of Zeeland is supplied with such an oared barge as he shall make a choice of, out of their Majesties stores at Portsmouth, and this to be adorned with guilt carved works and fitted in all respects for service with oars and sails..
