In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

You are directed to have the provisions at Plymouth for the squadron of ships on the coast of Ireland, kept in readiness to be transported under convoy. You are asked to prepare an account of the money paid by the Treasurer of the Navy to the Commissioners of the Victualling since 1 January 1689, and what provisions have been provided and what at present remains. You are also directed to hire two ketches for tenders of the Mediterranean Squadron. These are not to be fitted as men-of-war and one of them must be ready immediately to go in company with ships attending the Queen of Spain.
