In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Warrant appointing Mr George Freeman, Bachelor of Divinity, to the Office and Place of Preacher to HM Vessels in Ordinary and in Rigging Wages at Deptford in place of Dr.Daniel Mills who has died. Freeman is to be paid from the Four Pence allowance deducted from the wages of the Men to whom he ministers. Countersigned by Phineas Bowles, Admiralty Board Secretary.
