In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain James Salmon of the SMYRNA MERCHANT hired ship at the Nore is in want of Stores. Instructions are given for him to be supplied either from the Owner's stores or from the Navy's; but if the latter, the cost is to be deducted from the cost of the hire. Their Majesties' yacht the ISABELLA at Portsmouth is to be refitted and supplied with whatever is appropriate. The PLAY Prize, the LARK and the Mary hired ships about to go on service off Scotland and Ireland are to be supplied with Pinnaces. The Pinnaces are to be returned to Stores as soon as the ships return from that service.
