In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the MAIDSTONE at Deptford to be fitted out to Sea for a voyage to the West Indies, in order to relieve the DEAL CASTLE, now in the Leeward Islands, and that she be manned with her middle Complement of Men and victualled for eight months at whole allowance of proper Species for this voyage, and that these Provisions be kept up from time to time as her Company spend them, so that she may have a full eight months aboard her when she sails from England.
