In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to give orders that the Yacht which attends on the Master Attendant at Deptford is to carry to the Downs the Servants and Goods of Rear Admiral Fairborne. There are several Ships now ordered to be paid off that have remained in Harbour with no more than eighty Men each, and we direct that you cause the Officers and Company of these Ships to be paid as those that have belonged to the Guardships, from the time they were reduced to eighty Men, and that before they were so reduced they be paid Wages as if they were actually in Sea Pay.
