The Admiralty Commissioners have sent Orders to the Captain of the MARY not to remove any of his Mates or Midshipmen into the STERLING CASTLE, to be carried by her to the Fleet, and to the Captains of the other three Ships, ordered to be paid in the River Medway, not to remove any Mates or Midshipmen that properly belong to them as Guardships, but to put on board the STERLING CASTLE all such Mates or Midshipmen, as upon their being retrenched to old Men, were reduced to the quality of Able Seamen.
