In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter of yesterday to our Secretary informed us that the SOVEREIGN is intended to be launched the latter end of this month, and proposed that the ST ANDREW be rigged and put into a condition to be brought from Chatham to be docked and rebuilt at Woolwich in her place.
We signify our approval and direct you to give the necessary Orders for launching the SOVEREIGN and also for rigging and bringing the ST ANDREW to Woolwich and rebuilding her there. The SOVEREIGN is to be carried to Chatham and laid up there, and for this and bringing the ST ANDREW you are to employ the Ordinary and Riggers of HM's Yards.
