Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
Sir George Rooke, by a letter received from him today, has informed that if the Hospital Ship is not immediately fitted and sent to him she can be of no use to him for his intended Expedition.
I am commanded to inform you that you may know what necessity there is to make all possible dispatch. I am also commanded to let you know that the three months' Necessaries for the Surgeons of the Squadrons' Ships should be sent to them without a moments' loss of time.
