In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you in the Contract you are making for the Ship that is to proceed to Barbary for bringing home the Slaves that will be redeemed, to oblige the Master to follow such directions for proceeding to Barbary, taking on board the redeemed Captives, and bringing them to England, as he receives from Captain George Delaval, Commander of the TILBURY, who is appointed by HM to treat concerning the Captives.
Since this Service should not be defrayed out of Money appropriated for the Navy, you are to solicit the Treasury for Money for this service.
