In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Victualling Commissioners have informed us that in accordance with our Order in April last they have provided three months' Provisions of proper species for the West Indies, for 1000 Soldiers at whole allowance, and that these are ready at this Port.
We direct you to give Orders to the Commissioners to cause all the dry Provisions to be put upon the hired Ship BENJAMIN, together with such part of the Wet as she can conveniently stow, to be carried by her to Spithead, and disposed of there as we shall direct. All possible dispatch should be made and an account of their proceedings given to us.
