In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have ordered the Yacht CHARLOTTE, following the directions of your Board, to attend the orders of the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. We therefore direct you to cause the Yacht CLEVELAND to be fitted for the accommodation of yourselves in the same manner as the CHARLOTTE, and directions will be given to the Captain of the CLEVELAND to follow your orders.
We have considered your letter of the 18th inst; concerning the Powder, much decayed and washed away in the RYE, which the Ordnance Officers desire to be made good by the Carpenter of that Ship, and we direct you to order the Surveyor to take to assist him the Master Shipwright at Deptford, and his assistant, to examine the leak and report their opinion.
