In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Your letter of yesterday's date informed us that the ROYAL SOVEREIGN will be hove down to the stern of the dock at Woolwich on Thursday next, to be launched the next day, and that besides the Riggers and Ordinary of Deptford and Woolwich there will be occasion of at least 400 men for setting her Masts, rigging her, and carrying her to Chatham.
We direct you to give orders to Captain William Wright ,Master Attendant at Deptford, to apply to the Commanders of the JERSEY, SOLEBAY, LOOE and SWAN, now in the Thames, for such of their Men as may be needed to carry on that service.
When the ROYAL SOVEREIGN is rigged and in a condition to sail you are to cause her to be carried to the River Medway and placed at the moorings appointed for her, with Captain Wright in charge.
The Men lent from the aforesaid Ships are to be given Conduct money for their return.
