In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you immediately to proceed to the hiring of two proper Ships in the River Thames, to carry between them five hundred soldiers from Ireland to Jamaica, and such Provisions as shall be ordered on board them, where they are to be discharged as soon as the Soldiers are put on shore.
You are also to direct the Victualling Commissioners to make all possible dispatch in providing three months' Provisions of proper specie for the West Indies, at whole allowance for five hundred soldiers, in the same manner, and in addition to that which they have already provided for the one thousand soldiers, pursuant to the orders of this Board.
