A Commission being granted by the Admiralty Commissioners dated 3rd March 1689 for [Clement] Clarke to be Lieutenant of the SWIFTSURE, I desire that you let me know when he was discharged from her, and whether it was before the Ship was paid off or not, for the information of their Lordships.
