Personal letter from J C Mongrand to Arthur Lysaght, dated 28 October 1810.
Letter dated 28 October 1810 addressed to Captain Arthur Lysaght, Her Majesty's Frigate JAMAICA, from J. C. Mongrand, thanking him for his hospitality. A postscript to the letter implores Lysaght to offer his protection to Mr Donat 'who has been considered as a prisoner.' A note attached to the letter indicates that J. C. Mongrand was a passenger on board a ship that was captured by the JAMAICA under the command of Captain Lysaght (see LYS/7/2).
