Biographical note by Clarkson Stanfield with transription.
The original document is very difficult to read, and the pencil transcription is unsigned. The note concerns sketches of Tantallon Castle and Bass Rock lent to Clarkson (?) to help him with a painting. On the verso of the transcription "Diary of Benjamin Robert Handon" is written in ink.
