Envelope containing two copies of prayers used on Arctic expeditions, sent by Harrison on HMS ASSISTANCE at sea
Envelope is addressed to Miss Hamilton at 14 Octagon, Plymouth, stampmarked 2 August 1850 and containins ‘A prayer which may be used by those engaged in the Arctic Expedition, 1850’ and ‘A Prayer used in the expedition under Sir James C. Ross.’ Both are dated 6 June 1850.
