Memoranda, orders and letters, 1800-1808.
Volume containing copies of memoranda and general orders issued to vessels of the Jamaica squadron including HMS SYREN (1782), by the Commander-in-Chief at Port Royal, dated between 31 July 1800 and 10 November 1801. Also copies of Gosselin’s letters sent between March 1803 and November 1808, mainly relating to his command of HMS VILLE DE PARIS (1795), HMS LATONA (1781) and then HMS AUDACIOUS (1785).
