The Admiralty Commissioners direct that you report to them a proper person to act as Clerk of the Survey at Plymouth together with the Salary proper for him.
Sir John Ashby has sent a survey of the PLAY Prize. I am sending a Copy thereof and direct you report the most convenient place to order her refit.
Captain Jones has given an account of the condition of his Ship and the damage she sustained in the late storm. I am sending an extract of his letter in order that you report what is necessary for repairing her.
The Board have determined that Mr Wasse shall be the Master Shipwright at Plymouth, and Mr Podd shall succeed him as Assistant to the Master Builder at Portsmouth.
