In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to give orders that the Pay of Mr John Leask, Chaplain of the hired Ship SCEPTRE, should commence from the day he entered on that Ship's Books, notwithstanding that he had his Warrant only lately from this Board for this employment, he not having had an opportunity sooner to make an application for this as the Ship was on the coast of Ireland.
