In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

1. A new 4th-Rate to be laid down at Chatham, having the same dimensions as the SEDGMORE and, where possible, materials and stores salvaged from the wreck of the SEDGMORE to be used in her.

2. New 4th-rate ships to be laid down at Deptford and Woolwich and worked on when the Yards are not fully occupied with repairs and fitting out. estimates of the cost of building and fitting out to be provided.
