In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Admiralty has given instructions for the hiring of two Flyboats to accommodate prest Men at the Nore. The Navy Board has advised that square sterned vessels would be more suitable. They propose that two of these could be fitted as Hospital Ships for this purpose and could later accompany the Fleet to sea to serve as such next year so saving the cost of hiring the Flyboats. The Admiralty agrees.
