In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Admiralty has been informed that the Men belonging to ships coming into port do not attend to the work required aboard. The Navy Board is to send Orders to the Clerks of the Cheque in the various Yards to ensure that Men belonging to ships in port do not neglect the work they are required to carry out in line with the Rules of the Navy unless they have written permission to absent themselves.
