In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Wanting to know the condition of the First to Third Rate ships that have already been surveyed and when they will be ready for sea. The work of surveying ships not yet assessed is to be undertaken without delay. A weekly account is to be submitted to the Admiralty for forwarding to the King showing the results of surveys port by port.
