In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Orders are given for hiring Ketches or Smacks for transporting part of the four hundred men of the Duke of Bolton's Regiment from the Tower of London to ships in the Downs bound for the Leeward Islands. Reference is made to ships transporting Provisions to Captain Wright's Squadron and how the whole complement of Men are to reach the Downs together with their own Provisions.
