In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain John Tyrrell has stated that he knows of several Seamen who would be willing to serve under him as Volunteers. An Order is given for the Men to join the First and [Second] Rates fitting out at Chatham and to be borne as individuals prepared to join any ship allotted to Captain Tyrrell.
