In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Wanting to know the size of the crews and the number and nature of guns needed for the new Fireships and Men-of-War Ketches now building; and requiring the ROYAL OAK to be fitted for sea for next year's service in the Channel, including being furnished with her highest number of Men and supplied with four months Victuals. The First and Second Rate ships required for next year's service are also to receive their highest complements of Men.
