In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have received information that the GARLAND has lately lost her Foremast and Bowsprit, and received other damage by the bad weather. We have ordered her to Sheerness to be refitted, and on her arrival there you are to cause her to be supplied with whatever is required to put her in a condition for Sea.
