In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
On consideration of your Report to this Board of the 16th of this month upon the Petition of Samuel Elridge, Master of the ANNE Ketch, which saved the Company of HMS DREADNOUGHT off the North Foreland, we direct you to make an allowance to Samuel Elridge of fifty pounds as a reward to himself for this service, and fifty pounds towards making good the loss and damage which his vessel sustained.
