In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to consider and report to this Board what numbers of Men and numbers and nature of Guns you judge proper to be established for the CHARLES, JAMES and MARY GALLYES, without any consideration to their Oars.
You are also to cause the St. ALBANS and DEPTFORD to be cleaned, exactly measured, and report their dimensions to this Board, together with your opinion whether the present complements of Men established for them may not be lessened, and what number you judge may be proper for them, having regard to the establishment made for other Ships of like dimensions.
