In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to have a survey taken of the present condition of the tow-engine at Chatham, and report to this Board whether it is in fit condition, or if not, at what charge it will be. You are also to direct the Commissioners of the Victualling to make all possible dispatch in sending down the victuals to the ships in the fleet.
