In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Your letter of yesterday advised us that the new 4th rate ship building at Woolwich, will be ready to launch the next spring tides, and that the Master Shipwright proposes the launch on 21st of the month. You are directed to have the ship launched accordingly and that she be fitted out for service in the Channel, to be manned with her highest complement and victualled for 4 months. You are to have the ship borne in the Navy as the CHESTER.
