In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The deponent Thomas Marshall, late Commander of THOMAS & ELIZABETH fireship, makes oath that at the time of the engagement against the French on 30 June 1690, the deponent in attending the service of the ANNE did mislay several of the material papers relating to the account of his victualling. By want of these papers he is now a debtor on his account.
