Mr Humphrey Ayles states that the his salary and that of his clerk for 6 months from 24 June to 25 December 1689 amounts to £230, during the tome he acted as Commissioner at Highlake and Scotland in shipping the Army and other affairs, is yet unpaid. Their Lordships desire that the Treasury examine the order to Mr Ayles. [Footnote to letter dated 18 March. The Commissioners of the Treasury refer this letter to the Navy Board to consider and report.]
