In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Petition of Jonathan Evans, Carpenter of the NAVY yacht, has served as Carpenter for 16 years, and was in the service of the late King above 30 years. He is 64 years of age, has received several wounds and now has much impaired eyesight. He prays that their Lordships will be pleased to consider to grant an order for superannuation.[Footnote] - the Navy Board is directed to examine the matter and report whether the Petitioner comes within the establishment made by their Majesties for Officers Superannuated for Service at Sea.
