In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Petition of Sarah Roberts, widow of John Roberts, Mariner. John Roberts served on board the DARTMOUTH for several months and was killed on going from the ship [to] cut the Highlanders boats. Soon after the ship was lost. The Petitioner being left in a destitute and deplorable condition with 3 children. Prays for an order of such compensation for her and her children as their Lordships allow in like cases. [Petition not dated] [Footnote] Referred to the Navy Board to consider and give the Petitioner relief under the rules and practice of the Navy.
