In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Their Majesties Consuls at Genoa and Leghorn have advised us that there are several seamen, their Majesties' subjects, arrived there who were prisoners at Toulon and Marseilles and are lately released. They are in a very poor condition and more are daily expected. His Majesty has been pleased to issue an order for the Consuls to take care for the relief of the seamen and provide for them until there is an opportunity to put them on board some of their Majesties' ships. You are directed to have the Consuls reimbursed such money as they shall expend.
