We have confirmed the warrant dated 30 March 1689 given by the Earl of Torrington, Admiral of their Majesties' Fleet, to Richard Nevett to be Purser of the DEFIANCE. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 9 March 1691.
