In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Proposals have been presented to this Board from the Commanders of their Majesties' fleet at a Council of War held on board the ST MICHAEL. This concerned the rules and methods to be observed for seamen set on shore sick and hurt form the fleet which were referred to you for your opinion and which we received on 20 January. We think it fitting to order that these Rules and Methods be observed hereafter and direct you to give the necessary orders for putting them into execution.
