In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
A Swedish ship the KALMAR CASTLE, laden with timber and tar, is suspected of being bound for France. She has been intercepted by the EDGAR and escorted into the Downs. Instructions are given for her cargo to be inspected and a purchase made of any of the goods judged to be of use to the Navy.
