Document signed by James Southerne, Secretary to the Admiralty, fl. 1690-1694.

The Navy Board has informed the Admiralty that they have hired a ship named the BAYLY for carrying Stores to Plymouth. The Admiralty now informs that an Order has been received for her to continue on to Virginia. A Protection for guarding her Men from pressing together with documents from the Treasury and Customs are being forwarded. The Navy Board has also reported that the MILFORD has been tallowed at Sheerness; but the Admiralty wants to know why she has not been graved as previously ordered.
