Walter Middleton, by order of this Board, disbursed some Money for the conduct, victualling, transporting and other charges concerning some Men who were sent to Milford from Cumberland and Wales to serve in the Fleet .You have informed us that you cannot allow these as the vouchers for some disbursements are not in accordance with Naval practice. It appears that the Men were sent to Plymouth by Orders of this Board to Mr Middleton, but they were taken away before delivery there by the MARY ROSE Commander, Captain Bounty.
