In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Her Majesty has been pleased by her Order in Council of the eighth of this month to declare that timely provisions of Sea Victuals be made for thirty thousand Men for thirteen Lunar months, commencing the first of January next 1691.
We direct you to give Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to provide and have in readiness at the several Ports mentioned hereunder, according to the Proportions expressed at each Port, Sea victuals for thirty thousand Men to serve for thirteen Lunar months, commencing the first of January next.
London-15000 Men; Portsmouth-5900; Plymouth-5000; Dover-2500; Harwich-300; Kinsale-400; Liverpool-50; Milford-50; Mediterranean-800.
