In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Commissioners for Victualling have presented us a Breviate of the victualling of the Navy in the year 1690 and for the present year until the 30th September last and desired a further Declaration for victuals for carrying on the service of this year.
We are sending you enclosed a Copy of the said Breviate and direct you to examine this and report to us your opinion for what number of Men and for what time you judge it necessary for an additional Declaration of victuals be made for this year's service.
